Herbert William Hendershot

February 7th, 1919 - November 16th, 2012

Herbert William Hendershot, 93, of Nampa, died November 16, 2012, at home of natural causes. He was born February 7, 1919, in Smithfield, Utah, to Mary Edith Read, and William Herbert Hendershot. Herb is survived by his children: Kathleen (Mike) Lewis, Salt Lake; Betty (Sid) Dufur-Buck, Nampa; Ray (Carolyn), Hawaii; Peggy (Mike) Floyd, Nampa; and Ed (Carol), Star; a half-brother, Norman (Bonnie) Gittens, and a half-sister, Jeanine (Marcell) Tibbitts. His family will greet friends Monday evening, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell, Idaho, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 20, at 11:00 am, with a viewing from 10:00 am to 10:40 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel in Marsing, Idaho. Jean Hennis

I was sorry to hear about the death of your dad. I remember both your mother and father in the Marsing Ward. I remember when your dad came over and was helping my father-in-law in building his home when he lived in Nampa. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of letting go. Jean G. Hennis
