KATHLEEN Herbert H. Phillips, 74, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P M Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Dr. Jimmy Asbell and Reverend Missy Blumenthal will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 ? 9 PM Tuesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Phillips, a native of Colquitt County was the son of the late Buford and Grace Willoughby Phillips. He served in the United States Air Force for eight years and was a member of the 7th Log, owned and operated Phillips Furniture Store for 27 years, member of the Corvette Club, an avid fisherman and a member of First United Methodist Church where he served on the finance committee, Pastor / Parish Relations, an usher and member of the Fidelity Sunday School Class. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Anita A. Phillips, Kathleen, daughter, Susan Phillips Conner Bill, Hawkinsville, two sons, Alan D. Phillips and Mark K. Phillips both of Warner Robins, two sisters, Sandra Bishop Dane, Florida, Debra Jean Nelms Jerry, Gainesville, GA. Three grandchildren, Benjamin M. Churcher Amber, Perry, Eric M. Churcher Leigh Ann, Warner Robins and Brooke N. Conner, Hawkinsville. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church.
