Herbert Michael Richardson

On February 19th, 2021 Herbert ‘Michael’ Richardson, loving brother, uncle, and friend, passed away from degenerative heart failure at the age of 64. Michael was born on March 18th, 1956 in Los Angeles, CA to Herbert E Richardson and Vera Travinkoff Richardson. He is the oldest of five children and the only son to Herbert and Vera. Michael decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and became a General Contractor. Michael was a passionate, talented craftsman who could bring any idea to life. Michael was a giving man even when he did not have much to give. He is the brother, uncle, and friend we could always count on when we needed him most. Michael is survived by his sister’s: Sally Richardson Porta of Roseville, CA, Linda Richardson Miller of Roseville, CA, Beverly Richardson Baldwin of El Dorado Hills, CA and Catherine Richardson Chapman of Sacramento, CA. His Niece’ and Nephews: Crystal Richardson Ragan, Gina Richardson, Eddie and Nikko Porta, Kimberly Porta Cisneros, Tracy Miller, Robert Miller, Kyle Clark, Kiley Clark, Blake Clark, Ashley Chapman-Ruiz, Everett Chapman and 16 great Nieces’ and Nephews. He will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by our beloved parents Herbert E Richardson and Vera Travnikoff Richardson, our grandparent’s Basil Travnikoff, Melvin Richardson and Bernadine Hicks Richardson, our Aunt Phyliss Bane, his nieces Krista Lynne Miller, and Kristin Anne Chapman-Elbon. A Celebration of life will be held at Woodbridge Park in Roseville, CA on April 10th at 1pm In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to the American Heart Association in honor of Michael.
