Herman David Chavez

Beloved Father, Grandfather, and Soulmate, Herman went on to live with the Lord after losing the love of his life the week prior. He truly passed of a broken heart and it is with great sadness that we announce his passing. Herman was preceded in death by his Soulmate Reyna De Lara, Mother Rupertita Perea, Brothers Richard and Rudy Chavez, Sister Nora Jaramillo, Son Herman David Chavez Jr., Daughter Eva Marie Chavez, and step-son Elmer DeLara. Herman is survived by his children Raymond K Chavez and his wife Dominique Chavez, Loretta Chavez, Filia Chavez, Carlos Chavez, Evangelina Chavez, Audriana Valencia, Gabriella Manzanares, and step-children Sheldon, Harvey, Judy and Curtis DeLara, many grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and many other loved ones. Services will be as follows: on Thursday February 21, 2019 there will be a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. On Friday, February 22 ,2019 a second Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, with internment immediately following at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery.
