Fisher, Herman Eldridge, Jr. ?Mickey,? 72, of St. Petersburg, FL died Friday August 25, 2006 at St. Anthony?s Hospital, St. Petersburg. Born in Roanoke, VA, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1977 from Oakland, FL. He was a Presbyterian minister and served in the U. S. Air Force from 1953 until 1957 and in the U. S. Navy Reserves from 1970 until 1992. He was past President of the St. Petersburg Clergy Association and Navy Reserve Association, past President of the Board of We Help and the Free Clinic. He is survived by his wife of 24 years: Gayle D. Fisher, St. Petersburg; five sons: Stephen M. Fisher, McGuire AFB, NJ; Thomas B. Fisher, San Antonio, TX; William F. Fisher, St. Petersburg; Christopher A. Fisher, Norfolk, VA; and Matthew W. Fisher, Brooksville, FL; two brothers: Charles H. Fisher II, Aylett, VA and Henry F. Fisher, Huddleston, VA; and two grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes.
