Herman T. Lobato

Herman Toribio Lobato, 89, of Windsor, passed away July 25, 2021 at home. He was born on February 21, 1932 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Toribio and Melquedes (Madrid) Lobato. He grew up in Romeroville, New Mexico and moved to the Northern Colorado area when he was 16. He married Mary Lujan on November 24, 1952 in Greeley. Herman worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. He was a craftsman and enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting, camping, telling jokes and magic. Herman was a great dancer and also enjoyed puzzles. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Mary Lobato of Windsor, his sons, Daniel Lobato and wife Mary of Windsor, Eddie Lobato and wife Betty of Greeley, and Lawrence Lobato and wife Brenda of Loveland, his daughters, Linda Quintina and husband Steve of Greeley, Lori Llamas and husband Bob of Fort Collins, and Janet Torres and husband Tim of Greeley, his brother Juan Lobato of Greeley, and his sister Alice Jaramillio of Highlands Ranch, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents and 9 brother's and sisters. Recitation of the Rosary 12:30p.m. Thursday followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Windsor. Friends may send condolences to the family at adamsoncares.com.
