Herman Lopez of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away Wednesday August 16, 2017. He was born February 5, 1936 in Lemitar, New Mexico, the son of Jose V. and Lucy C. Lopez. He graduated high school and married Orpha Tachias. He joined the service and served in the U.S. Army as a cook in the 1960's. Together they had five children Richard, Debbie, Joseph, Jonathan and Billy, three grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his son Richard and Billy and brothers Spedion and Condro and parents Jose and Lucy Lopez. Herman left behind two brothers Mike and Porfidio Lopez and one sister Viola L. Pino. A rosary will be held in his honor on Wednesday August 23, 2017 at Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque. Funeral Services will be the following day on August 245, 2017 at Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, with a conclusion of Military burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00pm.
