Obituary Herschel E. Sexton, 88, of Nicholasville, the husband of Winona Baker Sexton, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky. He was born April 22, 1921, in Owsley County, Kentucky, to the late Thomas Carl and Hattie Strong Sexton. Herschel served in the Army during WWII, was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and after retirement from IBM, enjoyed woodworking. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Wayne) Perkins, Nicholasville; two sons, Carl Glenn Sexton, Virginia; Charles E. (Sylvia) Sexton, Nicholasville; six grandchildren; one great grandson; two step-grandchildren and two step-great granddaughters. Funeral Information Visitation will be 5-8pm, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. Funeral Service will be 11am, Thursday, April 22, 2010, officiated by Pastor Gary Farmer. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
