Hilario Garduño, age 77, peacefully joined our Heavenly Father on June, 22, 2024.
Born on January 18, 1947, in Mora, NM, to Sabino Garduño and Marcelina (Espinoza). Hilario lived a life of dedication and service. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and worked as a Maintenance Technician in various capacities, Known for his kind and cheerful nature, Hilario enjoyed fishing, camping, watching movies, his beer and collecting various items. He cherished his family deeply, always showing love, respect and care, especially to his younger siblings. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His family was the center of his world, and he left behind a legacy of love, dedication and cherished memories.
He is survived by his children Hilario Garduño Jr., Tomas Garduño , Steven Garduño , Marcelina DeVargas, Mary Francis Valenzuela, and Christina Garduño . His is also survived by his brothers; Floyd Espinoza (CO), Michael Garduño (NM), Robert Garduño (NM), and his sisters; Antonina Garduño (WY) and Priscilla Garduño (AZ). He leaves behind 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Services for Hilario will take place July 23, 2024. Mass is at 9 am located at 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. Followed by the funeral services at 2:30 pm at the Veterans Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Riverside Funeral Home in Albuquerque, NM.
