Hilda “Leona” Janssen, 93, of Caldwell, died Tuesday April 23, 2013 at a Caldwell care facility of natural causes. Born July 16, 1919 to Herman and Lena Beerman in Brewster, Minnesota. Leona attended schools in Brewster. She married Carl Janssen in 1955 in Worthington, Minnesota. Leona is survived by her husband Carl, son Vern Fischer, grandchildren Michael, Donald and Fred Fischer and Susie Jerome. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Wilbert, Marvin, Leda, and Floma and son, Harlen Fischer. Leona’s service will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Grace Lutheran Church on Kimball in Caldwell. Her online guestbook can be found at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com.
