Hilda Morrison Lawson

Versailles Hilda Morrison Lawson, 94, passed away, March 17, 2019. Hilda was born December 28, 1924 to the late Joe and Frances Lancaster Flora, in Mortonsville, Kentucky. She was a member of Mortonsville Assembly of God Church. Hilda enjoyed sewing and embroidering in her free time. She loved her family and friends and everyone that knew her loved her. Hilda is survived by daughters, Shirley (Ronnie) Lawson, Vickie Morrison, Doronda (Tom) Walters, Tammy Morrison, Marlene Nichols, Alta Renfro and Carol Morrison; sons, Roger (Francis) Morrison, Frankie (Peggy) Morrison, Buzz (Nellie) Morrison and Neil Morrison; twenty-six grandchildren; fourty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son Charles (Diane) Morrison; sisters, Evelyn Shaffer and Pearl Tina Sanders; half-sister, Elizabeth Weber; step sisters, Rosa Mae Hall, Stella Lee Cooper and Frances Hall; brothers, Tommy Flora and Joe Mason Flora; and half-brothers, Walter Flora, Ansel Flora and Cecil Flora. A Funeral Service will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Versailles, officiated by Rev. Edward Nichols. Burial will follow at Versailles Cemetery. Casketbearers are all her grandsons. Visitation will be from 4:00pm-8:00pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the funeral home.
