Holly Marie Thompson, 52, passed away of COVID and pneumonia on September 27, 2021, in Olympia, Washington. She was born December 25, 1968, to Barry Bottrell and Peggy Robak in Glendale, California. She resided in Tenino, Washington, for 28 years. Holly married Michael Lee Thompson on October 6, 1990, in La Crescenta, California. A stay-at-home mother, Holly loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter. She loved making fairy gardens, sunbathing, and online shopping. She will be remembered for her compassion and empathy. She also was honest, responsible and respectful. She is survived by her husband, Michael Thompson; son, Justin Michael Thompson; daughter, Ashlee Marie Thompson; one granddaughter; father, Barry Bottrell; and brothers, Dennis Bottrell and Brian Bottrell. She is predeceased by her mother, Peggy Robak; and grandparents, Alta Derek and Lorraine Bottrell. There will be a celebration of Holly’s life on Saturday, October 30, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Huber’s Gasthaus, 2312 Friendly Grove Rd. NE, Olympia, WA 98506.
