Horace Sidney Jones
August 29th, 1940 - November 25th, 2020
Horace Sidney Jones, 80, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Mr. Jones was born in Lexington, KY on August 29, 1940 to the late Ada and Jesse Jones. Mr. Jones worked for McKinney Electric about 15 years as a general manager and vice president. Mr. Jones then went on to be a technical specialist for Consolidated Electrical Distributers, where he retired from in 2008. Mr. Jones served time in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves. He is survived by his two sons, Phillip K. Jones, and Brian A. Jones; granddaughter, Brittany Jones; several nieces and nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, William B. Jones and sisters, Dorthy Dever, Pricilla Norhold, and Estill Jones. No services are planned at this time.
