Howard Brown, 80, passed away on November 27, 2023, in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Howard was born in Lexington, Kentucky on April 15, 1943, to the late Frank and Margie Brown. He owned and operated many gas station locations over the years and loved showing his classic hotrod cars whenever he could at car shows. He was known to enjoy working on his yard, but above all had a deep love for his grandchildren and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughters, Angie Frazier and Billie McQueen; his former wife, Libby Brown; step daughters, Sally Farrow and Patricia Piper; siblings, Joann Maddox, Carol Sue Todd, Jean Brown, and James Brown; grandchildren, Brent Carter, Dylan Carter, Landon Frazier, Dalton McGhee, Lidia Piper, Ethan Piper, and Tyler Gibson; nieces and nephews, Frank Brown III, Glenn Brown, Eugene Todd, Greg Todd, Melinda Cooper, Jamie Brown, Carolyn Brown, Cathy Brown, and Jennier Brown; and great nephews, Tregg Todd, Cooper Todd, Chase Cooper, Brittany Todd, and Timothy Todd. In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Brown, Jr.; nephew, Kenny Wayne Brown. A gathering will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, from 10am-12pm, with a celebration of life service beginning at 12pm. Officiating will be his lifelong friend, Dillard Griffin, and Dwight Martin will be leading in prayer.
