He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and listening to Polka and Classic Country music. He enjoyed the nice weather and looked forward to sitting outside and taking a nap in the fresh air. Howard was a dedicated, honest, hardworking family man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, and friend. He will be sorely missed by all that had the privilege to know him. Howard was an example to his children and the lessons learned from him will never be forgotten. Besides his wife and parents, Howard was pre-deceased in death by his brother Kenneth Forgette. Survivors include his daughter Jane Konik and her husband Ron of Perth, his sons; Gregory Forgette and his wife Jamie of Johnstown, Jeffrey Forgette of Perth, Brian Forgette and his wife Jessica of Gloversville.
