Hoyt Allison Foster Jr.
December 4th, 1948 - September 18th, 2022
On Sunday September 18, devoted husband and family man, Hoyt Allison Foster Jr. passed away from Lewy Bodies with Parkinsons at home at age 73. Hoyt was born in 1948 at Mercy Hospital in Nampa, Idaho to Hoyt and Irene Foster. He graduated from Nampa High school in 1967 and attended Northwest College in Kirkland, WA. He met his wife Janice Kay Foster at Faith Temple and they were married 3 months later. They were happily married for 52 years and together they raised four children. Hoyt worked various diverse and interesting jobs, including 17 years with the Nampa Fire Department, while Building houses on his days off. He was very mechanically inclined and had great attention to detail. One of his big projects was designing and then building his own home. His children and later grandchildren remember summers of camping, sailing and white water rafting. In later years he was an avid Pickleball player. He loved singing and played the accordion. His biggest accomplishment was running a certified family home for special needs adults. Hoyt is preceded in death by his father Hoyt A. Foster Sr. He is survived by his wife Janice Kay Foster, children Ryan Foster, Krista Low, Rochelle Smittle, Matthew Foster, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. His mother Irene Foster, his brother Daniel Foster and sister Susan Schwanke. Hoyt is known for his unwavering love and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday.

Today, we continue their mission of providing the finest quality services to all families of the Treasure Valley.
