Hugh R. Fletcher
Hugh R. Fletcher, age 59, from Centennial, passed away Friday, September 21. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara, his daughter Cindy, two brothers, and a niece and two nephews. He was very involved in the Christian Science Church and the Joint Broadcasting Committee for Colorado. Hugh is now flying high with the angels all around him and he is safe and free. We were not ready to lose him, we still had so much left to do, but he is not lost. He will continue to inspire us and teach us†”his strength, his smile, his voice, his command of the written word, his love for everyone, for life, church and for God, his love of animals and the mountains, of America, of sci-fi, electronics, music and movies, ice cream and chocolate, the holidays, his courage, wisdom, tenacity, humility, emotion, passion, integrity, grace, compassion, creativity, empathy, his ability to spin everything in a positive light, his extraordinary gifts to others and his relentless desire to always want the best for his family. Everyone loved Hugh and he loved everyone. We are eternally grateful to him for all the gifts he has given us. He will live on in each one of us with the sweet song of memory as he continues through this transition. We will miss you and love you always and forever, but we will not say goodbye. We will climb the highest of mountains together and see the grandest of vistas. Donations in memory of Hugh can be made to the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Littleton, for the Joint Broadcasting Committee of Colorado fund, 1875 West Lilley Avenue, Littleton CO 80120.
