Ida “Connie” Marshall, age 93, died peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. A long-time resident of Oregon, Connie was born in Portland, Oregon to Myrtle (Johnson) and John Felsher on January 6, 1924. She graduated from Beaverton High School in 1942 and attended St. Helen’s Hall Junior College. During WWII she worked in a radio crystal factory and volunteered with the U.S. Coast Guard. Connie later attended both Oregon State University and the University of Oregon. She spent nearly 30 years as a realtor and broker for Charbonneau Properties in Wilsonville, Oregon. Connie loved to entertain in her home and also enjoyed gardening, interior design, singing, and participating as a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and the Portland Panhellenic. Connie was a longtime member of the Bethel Congregational Church, the Pittock Mansion Society, and the Daisy Ducks. Connie is survived by her son, Todd Marshall of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother Paul Felsher of Alameda, California; two grandsons Jason Marshall and Jonathan Marshall; and three great-grandsons, Andrew, Derek, and Kyle Marshall. She was preceded in death by her sister Janet Martin. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, March 19th at Northwest Community United Church of Christ, 101 South Rancho Drive, Las Vegas, 89106. A memorial service at Bethel Congregational Church, Beaverton, Oregon and interment at Crescent Grove Cemetery, Tigard, Oregon will be announced at a future date. Memorial donations may be made to Three Squares Food Bank, Planned Parenthood or Northwest Community Church, Marshall Family Benevolence Fund.
