Idelfonso "Pete" Ramon Diaz, Sr.
September 15th, 1968 - June 27th, 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Idelfonso Ramon "Pete" Diaz Jr., who left us on June 27, 2024. Born on September 15, 1968, Pete was a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
Pete was the beloved son of the late Idelfonso Ramon Diaz Sr. and Nancy Jean Diaz. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 34 years, Adis Diaz, and his loving sons, Idelfonso Ramon Diaz III (wife Carol) and Adrian Javier Diaz (wife Monica Melissa). He was a proud grandfather to Marly Katsuki and Idelfonso Ramon Diaz IV.
Pete is also survived by his brothers, John Fabian Diaz (wife Rhonda) and Richard Ramon Diaz (wife Geraldine), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and loyal dog, Milo, who will deeply miss him.
Lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, Pete was a graduate of Robinson High School. He dedicated his professional life to industrial sales, earning respect and admiration for his hard work and integrity. Pete's passion for sports, especially his beloved Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Rays was well known. He also enjoyed coaching baseball, sharing his love of the game with his sons and many young athletes.
Pete lived life to the fullest, always present and willing to lend a helping hand. His caring nature and unwavering support touched the lives of many. His memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
