Irma Moreno

Irma H. Moreno, passed away Monday morning, August 22, 2016 at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. Irma worked as a Community Service Aide for the Monterey County Health Department for 18 years. She was a resident of Salinas for the past 50 years. Irma's family sends a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital first floor and the DeVita Salinas Valley Dialysis Center for their excellent care given to Irma. Irma is survived by her husband, Arturo Moreno, A grandson, Paul Daniel Loredo, her sisters; Delia (David) Gamez, and Stella Sanchez. Her Brothers; Harvey (Gloria) Sanchez, George and Raul Sanchez. Sister in law; Patricia Sanchez, and a son in law; Paul Loredo. Also surviving are numerous Nieces, Nephews, and other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by a Daughter; Diane Herrera, her parents; Felix and Juanita Sanchez, Sister; Rachel Salazar, and her brothers; Felix Sanchez Jr. and Jesse G. Sanchez, along with her nephews Ricky and Roger Salinas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 2 - 9 PM and the rosary will be at 6pm all at the Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA 93905 A Chapel Blessing will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Healey Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas, CA 93901.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
