Isabel M. Silva

(Liz) Isabel M. Silva Born February 9, 1935 Passed on September 28, 2023 Liz was a lifelong member of the San Jose community in Albuquerque, she lived a long healthy life, and with a memory no one could match. She continued living in her parents' childhood home long after many friends and neighbors had moved away or passed. Liz was a descendant of one of the founding families of the City of Albuquerque with Antonio de Silva being the Ancestor. Her later years in retirement she became a Grandma in assisting teachers at the nearby East San Jose Elementary School for 8 years, she was well loved by the students and teachers and greatly appreciated. We will miss Liz and her genuine friendly greeting and smile, a true beauty she was. Liz is survived by Sisters, Mela Zertuche, Margaret Perea, and Elena Murphy Also survived by Sons and their spouses, Michael and Theresa, Steve and Beverly, Vincent and Paula, Tom, and his dog Max. Survived by daughters, Donna Vineyard, Raydene Conrad, and Elaine Also by 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her father Melton Silva, and mother Presciliana. And by her brother Felipe, and Grandson Tomas.
