Obituary Alive with Christ November 1, 1951- April 10, 2012 Isadore Frank Palma, 60years old died at his home in Ft. Collins, Colorado, from complications of liver disease. Life He was born in Los Angeles California November 1, 1951 to Isadore and Rose Palma, and grew up in Norwalk with his 6 siblings: Roseann, Deborah, Timothy, Robert, Linda, and Susan. Coming from a large family he had several cousins that he loved, and with whom he continued a very close bond throughout his life. Izzy had many childhood friends with whom he remained close even until his death. He attended Cerritos Community College, where he studied the Machinist trade. This remained his vocation until he was unable to work. Izzy loved music and was a musician. Blues and Rock and roll were his favorites. He played a left handed Gibson acoustic guitar. It was a beautiful guitar which treasured. He moved to Colorado in 1980 where he lived in Loveland, Ft. Collins, and Wellington at various times. He was a proficient fisherman, and enjoyed salt water, fresh water, and even ice fishing. Having grown up in Southern California he started fishing as a young boy off the Seal Beach and Huntington Beach piers, where he spent summers (and winters), surfing and fishing. His favorite place for freshwater fishing was at Horse tooth Reservoir near his home in Ft. Collins. He had the privilege to take his father to the Reservoir to fish and show him the beauty of Colorado. There they forged a bond, and created memories they both often recalled. Izzy loved Colorado for its beauty and fine people, but mostly because he loved his children and wanted to be near them. Izzy's faith in Christ never wavered. He knew very well what he was, a sinner saved by grace. He was intelligent, likeable, and very, very funny. Just ask anyone who knew him. He is survived by his children Nathan Fraser, Sarah Palma, Joshua Palma, Naomi Palma, granddaughter Angelique, and grandson Trey. Siblings Roseann Sturz, Deborah Carlson, Timothy Palma, Linda Soto, Susan Palma, twenty-0ne nephews and nieces, a number of great nephews and nieces. All who love and will miss him. Additionally, Izzy had many dear friends in Colorado, California, and throughout the US. He is preceded in death by his parents Isadore and Rose, as well as his brother Robert who passed away in 2008. A time of remembrance will be held at Horse tooth Reservoir (date to be determined) additionally a time to celebrate Izzy's life will be held in California in the weeks to follow.
