J. Allen Kline

J. Allen Kline, 59, of St. Petersburg, passed away suddenly on Aug. 19, 2011. He is the former owner of St. Petersburg Termite & Pest Control, Inc. Allen's life for the last 19 years has revolved around his recovery and helping the still suffering alcoholic and addict. Though many considered him a hero, he was fully aware of his own fragility and shortcomings and devoted his energy to becoming a better man. Allen was a devoted long-term member and DJ of The REBOS Club. Originally from Fort Washington, MD, Allen was predeceased by his father, Lieutenant Colonel Jack Kline, director of "The President's Own" Marine Band of Washington, DC, and his wife, Martha Kline. Allen is survived by his long-time life partner Nancy Everhart; sister, Terrill Kline; niece, Jessica Weidner; stepchildren Amanda and Jeremy Booker & Jeffrey and Shannon Longfellow; grandpa to Ezra Booker; and devoted father to his beloved, loyal canine companion, Calvin Kline. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 25th at 4pm with a party immediately following at Civitan Beach Club, 18604 Gulf Blvd., Indian Shores. Please feel free to bring a covered dish.
