Jack Loring Erickson
August 4th, 1929 - February 15th, 2014
The world lost a wonderful, loving husband and father when Jack passed. Jack was a grad of Grant High School, born and raised in Portland. An Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Jack met his wife Joyce in Great Britain and they enjoyed sixty years of married life making Portland their home along with daughters Sally and Sharon. Jack worked for Farmers Insurance for forty years. Upon retirement, he and Joyce took pleasure in motor home adventures and fifteen years of relocation to sunny Arizona. A return to Tigard Oregon followed in order to be closer to their grandchildren. Jack is survived by wife Joyce, daughter and son in law Sally and Maurice Reintjes, grandchildren Jeff and Rachel; daughter and son in law Sharon and Phillip Sundin of Pennsylvania. Jack will be remembered as a great role model and devoted family man. Burial to be in Willamette National Cemetery with Military Honors at 9 a.m. Monday February 24 followed by a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 2pm at The Highlands Club House, 12930 SW Peachvale St. Tigard OR 97224
