Jack Lee Humphrey

Jack Lee Humphrey Jr of Gilbert AZ passed away on May 10, 2014 in Queen Creek he was 36 years old. Jack was born on December 23, 1977 to Jack and Karen Humphrey in Boise Idaho. Jack graduated Baker High School in 1996. He then joined the Air Force and served as an Air Traffic Controller. After completing his service in the Air Force, he moved to Gilbert, AZ in 2000. He joined AZ Dept of Corrections in April of 2007. He had been a member of AZDOC Honor Guard. He recently was on his way to achieving his dream when he graduated the LETA Academy Nov. 20, 2013 proudly with Class 11. Jack was a very loved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He was always ready and willing to help. He had a huge heart and a great sense of humor. He was our protector and confidante. Jack is survived by his wife Jill Humphrey of Gilbert, his son Nicholas Humphrey of Gilbert, four daughters Danielle Orcutt, Natalie Orcutt , Amber Orcutt, and Alyssa Humphrey all of Gilbert. A son Johnathan Cortez of Louisanna. His parents Jack and Karen Humphrey of Mesa, two brothers Gary Newton of (Washington) and Jerry Humphrey of (California), and two sisters Julie Williams of (Idaho) and Jodie Humphrey of (Arizona). Many in-laws, nephews, nieces, and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday May 23, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W Juniper Ave, Gilbert AZ. 85233. Interment will be private.
