Jack Orestes Norwood Jr.
October 16th, 1954 - May 19th, 2015
Jack Orestes Norwood, age 60, of Matthews, NC went to dance with Jesus on May 19th, 2015. Jack was a family man and a friend to everyone. He was quick with a joke and a helping hand. He loved with his whole heart. He was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and the Day Sunday School Class. Jack is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughters, Heather and Brittany; a granddaughter, Ella; his mother, Ruby; a sister, Debbie Russell, a niece, Allison; his mother in law, "Mimi; sons lin law, Will and Cameron and his dog Beau. A combined memorial service and visitation will be held on Sunday, May 24 at 2:00pm at the main campus of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care-Charlotte Region who held our hands and Jack's during his last days. Tribute Cremation Society is serving the Norwood family.
