Warner Robins, GA: Jack J. Rogers, 80, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008, at his residence. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Rogers was born in Collins, GA. He was the son of the late Michael L. Rogers and Bessie Mills Rogers. He was a self employed furniture salesman and restoration repairman. He had been a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1964, where he was an usher and had been on various commities. Survivors includes his loving wife of 60 years, Julia H. Rogers, daughter, Judy L. Hatton, Jimmy Janet Rogers, son & daughter-in-law, son, Jack S. Rogers, sister, Louise Polk, grandchildren, Julia Joe Marin, Jessica Atkinson, great grandchildren, Jake Wilson, Jorjana Marin, Caitlynn Atkinson, Daniel Atkinson, Samuel Atkinson, great neighbor & friend Harrell Perlman and family, several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church @ 205 N. Davis Street, Warner Robins, GA, 31093, or to Heart of Georgia Hospice @ 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31088, in memory of Mr. Rogers. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
