Jack Edward Stout of Arvada, Colorado passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the age of 82. Jack died with his beloved wife Charlene and their children nearby. Jack was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Louis and Helen Stout. He received his undergraduate degree in Teaching at Western State University. He received his master†™s degree from Colorado State University in 1969. He is survived by his wife Charlene Stout; children Becky Bolin (Shane), Mike Stout (Darla Grogan), Jennifer Cook (Jeff); grandchildren Reece Bolin, Rachael Bolin, Alexa Stout, Robinson Cook, and Addison Cook; brothers Louis Stout (Wendy) and Thomas Stout (Melinda Harned). He made a difference in countless lives. He taught Drafting and Tech Arts in several Jefferson County schools over 33 years. He also coached youth baseball and soccer. Jack traveled the world with Charlene and dear friends. The only continent he didn†™t travel to was Antarctica. His favorite trip was to Africa. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. His life was made up of amazing adventures like hiking part of the Colorado Trail on horseback, fishing in the Amazon and Alaska, guiding river raft trips in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming, taking paraplegics from Craig Hospital white water rafting down the Yampa River, and building houses and decks. He loved nothing more than his family. He did whatever he could to attend as many sporting events for his children and grandchildren as he could. Jack was a one of kind, fun-loving guy with a great sense of humor. His mission in life was to help others and share his gift of gab with anyone that would talk with him. He could go anywhere and find a connection with someone. We will miss his stories. A memorial to honor Jack will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Trout Unlimited as fishing was a source of much joy and happiness throughout his life.
