Jackie "White" Roberson

Walkertown – Jacquelyn “Jackie” White Roberson, 86, went home to be with the Lord July 16, 2015. She was born in Forsyth County December 19, 1928 to Robert and Gladys Wheelis White who preceded her in death. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held 5:00PM Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Gospel Light Baptist Church where she was a member. Jackie is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bobby Roberson. They were blessed with four children, Steve and wife Linda Roberson, Sue and husband Jerry Whiteheart, Stan and wife Joanne Roberson, and Molly and husband Mark Potts; brother Larry and wife Sue White. She was the beloved “Granny” to ten grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. “Mrs. Jackie”, as she was known and loved by her Church family, stood behind her husband who has been the pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church for the past 59 years. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gospel Light Bus Ministry Fund, 890 Walkertown Guthrie Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
