Jacob Leon Conner, 37, passed away suddenly at home on January 19th, 2014. He was born December 25, 1976 in Salinas, California to Leon and Carolyn Conner. He attended North Monterey County High School, graduating class of 1995. Jacob worked in the building trades as a landscaper for over 20 years, known for being meticulous, especially when building his waterfalls. He will be remembered as one who truly loved his family, fishing, camping in Pinecrest every summer, gardening, Looney Tunes, playing the guitar, his love of coffee, Pearl Jam, and the San Francisco 49ers. He was the happiest when he was with his daughters, Melody and Penelope “Penny”. He is survived by his daughters, Melody Grace and Penelope Margaret. He also leaves behind his fiancé, Kimberly Cain, two stepsons, Eric and Zack, his parents, Leon and Carolyn Conner, brothers, Jason (Kelli) Conner, and Joseph Conner, his niece, Leah, and nephew, Jack, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11am at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way in Salinas.
