Jacqueline "Kay" Bruno
May 16th, 1919 - November 9th, 2016
Kay Bruno, age 97 1/2, passed away on November 9, 2016 after a short illness. She was born in Palermo, Sicily and together with her husband, Joseph, became residents of Monterey in 1944. She is most remembered as the friendly clerk/Manager at Sears Catalog Store on Tyler Street, where she worked for 30 years. She moved to Marin County in 2005 and was active up to her passing working at her daughter’s restaurant in Mill Valley. She is lovingly remembered by her son Bart, daughter Norine and sister Priscilla. A rosary will be held at San Carlos Cathedral on Thursday evening, Nov 17, at 7:00pm. Mass will be held at 9:30am on Friday, Nov 18, with burial immediately following. All funeral arrangements are being done through Bermudez Family Funerals. Service Information
