Jacqueline "Elliott" Lee Maddox

Jacqueline Lee (Elliott) Maddox died peacefully in her home on January 13, 2017 in Tumwater, Washington, at the age of 79. Jacqueline is survived by her children, Katheryn (Maddox) Peiffer of Kent, Washington, Marie (Maddox) Evans of Olympia, Washington, Dawn (Maddox) Browning of Boise, Idaho, Chester Maddox of Bossier City, Louisiana; her sister, Judy (Elliott) Liable of Prineville, Oregon; six grandchildren; two great granddaughters; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Elliot of Prineville, Oregon; her father, Frank Elliot of Enumclaw, Washington; her stepfather, Chester Elliot of Eugene, Oregon; her husband, Lawrence Maddox of Mountain Home, Idaho; and daughter, Debra Maddox of Springfield, Oregon. Jacqueline was born on August 18 in Enumclaw, Washington, to Frank and Alice Elliott. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1957. She married Lawrence Maddox in Springfield, Oregon on August 3, 1957. Jacqueline was accomplished at knitting and crochet and often loved reading. She was an active and dedicated member of the Salvation Army Women’s Home League Group. The family would like to thank Assured Hospice for their support.
