Jacqueline Ruth Williams (Bailey) “Nannie” 69 of North Charleston, SC passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 at home. A private viewing was held on Saturday, May 16,2015. Jackie was born in Vermont on December 3,1945. She was the daughter of the late James & Shirlie Bailey. Jackie worked as a CNA for 15 years at Courtland Gardens in Stamford, CT. In her younger days she enjoyed walking & going out to the stores to shop. Over the past couple years she did her shopping online, but she also enjoyed social media ( Facebook & Snapchat). Nannie loved her family more than words can express. She always knew what to say to brighten your day, she was very well known for her loving spirit. Anyone who knows Nannie will say she’s a sweetheart who didn’t take crap from anyone. She was a very strong willed woman who fought til the very end. Jackie is survived by her children, Dean Mead of Waterbury CT ; Michael Mead of Texas ; Cheryl Mead & Kathleen Monterroso both of North Charleston, SC She is also survived by her grandkids: Victor Estrada, Dexter Middleton Jr, Victor Monterroso Jr & Aurianna Freeman of North Charleston, SC ; Brittany Mead of Hamden, CT ; David Dell’Anno, Bryanna Mead, Dean Mead Jr, Sean Mead, Daniel Mead, Joshua Mead of Waterbury, CT. Siblings: Sherry Rodgers of North Haven, CT ; Joe Bailey of Tucker, GA ; Missy Bailey Jackson, Denise Russo of Loganville, GA ; Chrissy Bailey of Lithonia, GA ; Cathy Lovering of Conyers, GA Jackie also had seven great-grand kids, along with other family & friends who loved her dearly. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents James Bailey & Shirlie Bailey (Hawkins) , her step-father Dean Hawkins, brother Stephen Bailey & brother Michael Bailey. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services.
