Jacquelyn M. Moon, 77, of West Columbia, SC passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024. She was born October 23, 1946, in Columbia, SC to the late Jack G. and Sarah C. McVey.
Jacquelyn was a medical biller for 24 years and owned her own billing office for 14 years. Her hobbies included diving, shrimping, and partying with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Jones; son, Donald Coffey, Jr.; brothers, Chris (Karen) McVey and Danny (Kathy) McVey; stepson, Hal (Mary) Beard; grandchildren, Trey (Maggie), Trevor, Lauren, and Jarred; and great-grandchildren, Scarlet, Kade, and Wylder.
Jacquelyn is preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life for 43 years, Harold Beard; grandson, Joshua Coffey; stepsons, Ken and Rhett Beard; brothers, Phillip, Vic, and Johnny McVey; and sister, Sue Smoak.
Jacquelyn said, “I had two good children and a good life,” and she will be missed dearly by those she kept close.
