Jaime De La Rosa

Jaime De La Rosa Sr, 62, passed away on January 14th, 2021. He passed away in his Wimauma home, surrounded by all his loved ones, after a valiant battle with cancer. Jaime is survived by his wife Maria De La Rosa, his 6 children, Erik, Jaime, Gerardo, Myra, Alexis, Hector De La Rosa, and 10 grandchildren. He proceeds his siblings Eva, Adrian, Angelica, Adan and Velma De La Rosa. Jaime will be fondly remembered by his family as a gentle giant. He never complained about life’s challenges and silently overcame many obstacles. He left this world showing his children a grand symbol of strength by telling them he would continue to battle cancer “hasta que el cuerpo aguante”. He kept his promise to the very end. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 22nd at Sun City Funeral Home 1851 Rickenbacker Dr., Sun City Center FL 33573 from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. A celebration of life will be held at the Crossing Church on Saturday, June 23 at 10 AM followed by burial at Lake Wimauma Memorial Gardens.
