James "Fred" Bellamy
March 18th, 1951 - January 29th, 2024
James “Fred” Bellamy, 72, of Gate City, VA (Yuma Community) went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on January 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Genola Bellamy; sisters Brenda Marshall and Jolene Mullins. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Sherry Bellamy; daughter, Tina Bruner and husband Bill; grandson, Cody and wife Grace; great grandchildren, Reed and Hannah Beth who were his pride and joy; sister, Bobbie Jo France and husband Vic; brothers-in-law, Kenny Sampson and wife Judy and Tony Sampson and wife Ruby; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM at Tina’s home. Services will be announced at a later time. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Nova and Caris for the love, care, and support.
