Online Obituaries for Frankfort, KY James Wilson Berry died on Friday, May 16. He was 90. James was born in Eccles, WVA on June 15, 1923 to John and Myrtle Miller Berry. He served in the south pacific with the Navy during WW II. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Underwood of Prosperity, WVA. A graduate of West Virginia University, he worked for Columbia Gas for 35 years and was active in many business and civic organizations. He is survived by three children - James Wilson Berry Jr. (Martha Jo), Daniel Berry (Patsy) and Karen Berry (Clare). He had five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
