James Bolin
March 16th, 1935 - May 8th, 2018
James "Jim” Darrell Bolin, of Greeley, passed away after a short illness on May 8, 2018, surrounded by family. Jim was born to Claude and Eula (Watson) Bolin on March 16, 1935 in Jetmore, Kansas. After graduating from Manzanola High School, he attended the Colorado State College of Education in Greeley and was an elementary school principal for 27 years in the Widefield School District. He was married to Janet and together they raised four children. He enjoyed fishing, golf (3 holes-in-one), camping, gardening, children, his dogs, and being outdoors. Above all, he loved and adored his wife and kids. Jim is survived by his wife, Janet; children, James (Shannon) Bolin, Cindy (John) Fry, Sandy Ramos, Nancy (Gary) Talpers; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
