James Patrick Boone

Bonaire, GA-James Patrick “Jimmy” Boone, 58, passed away at home surrounded by his family on May 16, 2017. A memorial gathering will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Jimmy was born on December 14, 1958 in Dublin, GA to Delma and Joan Boone. He was an entrepreneur owning JB Supply for many years and later went to work at RAFB. He was known for his larger than life personality and his great sense of humor; he could light up the room just by walking in, and always kept his family laughing. In his free time he enjoyed building dune buggies, racing go carts, and water skiing, which he taught his children, nieces and nephews to do. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, and uncle who will be greatly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Boone. Survivors include his daughter, Brandi Lumley (Bryan); father, Delma Boone; four grandsons, Austin West, Carson Lumley, Waylon “Shooter” Lumley, and Jenson Lumley; siblings, Vicki Schmick (John); Joey Boone (Cindy); Dana Henderson (Bill); and a host of adoring nieces and nephews.
