James Collie Branham

Lexington-James Collie Branham, 66, of Lexington, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at his caregiver's residence in West Columbia. The Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, December 30, 2013 at Columbia First Seventh-day Adventist Church, 243 Riverchase Way, Lexington, SC 29072 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Andres Sequera officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to WBAJ 890 AM Radio, 243-A Riverchase Way, Lexington SC 29072, or the church at the same address. Born in Winnsboro, SC, James was a son of Nome Rutland Branham and the late Collie Branham. He was a member of Columbia First Seventh-day Adventist Church, a member of the United States Navy. James also enjoyed the outdoors, loved working and spending time with his family. Survivors include his mother, Nome R. Branham; sons, Jay (Sandra) Branham and Kyle Branham; sisters, Mary Fugate, Lenora (Luis) Torres, Hope (Brent) Tavenner, Brothers; Richard (Becky) Branham, Carroll (Pat) Branham, Michael Branham and Donald Branham; and a grandson, Dillon Branham. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his caregiver Donna Duck for her care and compassion. Woodridge Funeral Home, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072 will be assisting the family.
