Dear Jennifer & Ben -- We know that you feel the loss of your dad.  I remember when your family came back from Germany & stopped in Liberal. We went to the Mexican restraunt who gave us salsa with out any fire!  Iasked for something with a little fire in it. the watress swaid Oh yes, our cook is a real Mexican!  I'll see what he can come up with.  She returned with a small nuclear reaction in a bowl.  Eddie & I ate it and nearly died from the heat.  BOY WAS IT GOOD.  I'll never forget the look in his eyes as we ate this- together -- and the laughter at the table.   It was good to see him a few weeks ago.  Remember the laughter & happy times. As a concerned neighbor I would like to express my most sincerest condolences for your loss. The friends and family of Mr.Henry Cortez can rest assured that God is very aware of their loss and knows the sense of pain and loss they feel. In the bible in 1Peter 5:7 it says "While you throw all your anxiety upon him, because he cares for you" The bible also tells us that there is going to be a resurrection, That is stated in Acts 24:15 "There is going to be a resurrection". We can trust that, that will come to be because Jehovah god has promised it and in Titus 1:2 it says "God who cannot lie".
I hope these thoughts found in the bible will give comfort and solace to the survivor of Mr. Henry Cortez.

Lawny will always be remembered by way of his kindness,friendliness and the sweetest way that as our (English conversations) went backwards and forwards, he would always nod in agreement and then later would say to Laura that he couldn't understand our accents. His politeness was unmeasured, his kindness given freely and his love for family and friends palpable. Andy & Jenny .xx

 I first met Mr. Wescoatt as I entered the 6th grade at Esparto Elementary School. I have such fond memories of playing basketball with Mr. Wescoatt at lunch time. Brad was a friend of mine, and I remember that he lived in the house next to the school across the street from Joy Cambels Mom and Dad. He will be soarley missed. May he rest in peace and blessings and warm thoughts are sent your way.

So sorry to hear of Merle's passing. He was a wonderful neighbor. One year at Easter time we were trying to teach our two girls that the Easter Bunny didn't exist. The phone rang and it was Merle excitedly telling us to tell the girls he had just seen the Easter Bunny hop over the fence. They ran out to find a huge basket of coloring books, crayons and Easter eggs. Thank you Merle for such a wonderful memory.

Dear Brad, Christy and families, I was saddened to read of your dad's passing. He was a wonderful man and principal during our elementary days. He always had a smile and a positive word to say to everyone. He was a good friend to all the students. May your many memories help you through this sad time.

I remember camping with your family when we were all young and we were sliding down a natural water slide into a pond when Christy went under. I jumped in to save her and we both had to be rescued by our fathers. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. I hope the years have been kind to you. My parents reside in Oceanside CA, as does my sister Nancy. Sister Lida and brother Howard are in the Temecula area.

Over the years I lost track of Merle. Someone told me Dee had past away several years ago but they didn't know where Merle was. I am 91 and still living on the ranch in Capay Valley. I lost my beloved husband in 2009. I retired from Esparto Elementary in 1982 and subsequently was elected to the Esparto School Board for 4 years. Of all the Principals/Superintendents I worked with Merle was the BEST!

I am saddened to hear of your dad's recent passing. I hold a lot of memories of Merle--both as a wonderful neighbor and outstanding school administrator. One of the finest characteristics that your dad practiced was treating students fairly. It was obvious that he earned the respect of everyone who went through the halls of our school. I first got to meet Mr. W in 1961 when I was in the sixth grade and you knew then he was someone we could respect because he always cared for and respected us. May your thouhts and memories soon be those of the best of times with him and carry those with you forever.

My dad, Ben King, was the High School Principal at Esparto and was the district Superintendent. I remember when Brad got his eye injury and my Mom, Virginia King, took care of Christy while Dee and Merle were at the hospital with Brad. One of those things that pop into your memory. So sorry about your loss.

Mr. Wescoatt always treated me and all students with care and respect. I always felt he wanted me to do well even when I wasn't. He had an Ethics Presents with high affinity and care which I respected then and will always respect. After all these years Mr. Wescoatt is one of two teachers I feel blessed to have influenced my life.

Robin had been in my life since I can remember. I can hear her laugh in my head...it was infectious and full of joy! She was vivacious, full of life, & was unapologetically herself!
My parents were good friends and they spent a lot of time together. They lost touch for a number of year's & I'll never forget the day Robin showed up on our porch and asked where my mom was. 
My mom had passed away before they could reconcile, but my Dad & Robin immediately became best friends and spent a lot of time together. 
They took trips to the beach, went to Peacock in the Park each year and we're just there for each other! 
Robin was there for my Dad during one of the most devastating times of his life and I will always be extremely grateful to her for the companionship she brought him! 
Sending my deepest condolences to you Tiffany, Crystal, Jaycee, your children, & of course Jeff! I'll have to pull my Dad's photos out of my storage and go through them. I know I have some to share! 🫶🏻✨🫂

As a concerned neighbor I would like to express my most sincerest condolences for your loss. The holy word of god the bible gives much comfort and support to those who are bereaved because of the loss of a loved one. In the bible in 2Corinthians 1:3,4 it states "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation".
Jehovah god promises that those who sleep in death will arise again in the resurrection". Jehovah's gods promises can be fully trusted because as Titus 1:2 says "God, who cannot lie".
Jehovah god promises that he will resurrect those who are asleep in death, in Act 24:15 it states "There is going to be a resurrection".
The bible also tells us that god will return the elderly to their youth, in Job 33:25 it states "Let his flesh become fresher than in youth. Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor".
I hope that these thoughts found in the holy word of god the bible will give comfort to the survivor of Louise Clarice Pearson.
