Greensboro, NC Mr. James Dale Christley, 64, of Greensboro passed away Thursday January 28, 2010 at Triad Rehabilitation. James was born in Galax, Virginia on June 11, 1945 the son of Ernest and Mary Dale Christley. He was a self employed paint contractor and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. James also liked country music and enjoyed playing guitar. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Surviving are his wife Barbara Jacobs Christley of the home; a daughter Audrey M. Chavis of Mebane; five sons, Allan D. Christley, Sr. of Greensboro, Ernest Christley and wife Dawn of Cary, David Christley and wife Cindy of Greensboro, James K. Christley and wife Shannon of Kernersville and Darrell Christley of High Point; a sister Faye Hunt of Greensboro; a brother Lee Christley of Galax Virginia; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday February 2nd 2010 in the chapel of Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas P.O.
