James T. Cornwell
July 10th, 1966 - January 3rd, 2024
James T. Cornwell, 57 of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. James was a very dedicated employ of Redi-Fix Repair and was able to travel to many areas, especially enjoying working with Taco Bell sites. Woodworking was one of his favorite hobbies. James was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Taylor of Charlestown, West Virginia; and his father, Frankie Cornwell of Texarkana, Texas. He is survived by his children, Allie Wolford of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Josh Cornwell of Inwood, West Virginia, and James Fiddler of Berkley, West Virginia; along with his sisters, Lindy Tribby of Charlestown, West Virginia, Diana Drummond of Charlestown, West Virginia, and Sandy Welfel of Floral City, Florida. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport with Rev. Jack Edwards officiating. Carter-Trent in Kingsport is serving the Cornwell family.
