James Vincent Coronity, 57, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 30th at his home. Son of the late Albert and Frances (Canny) Coronity, he was born in Boston on June 26, 1966. After graduating from highschool, James went on to work in antique sales, traveling across the country. James was a man of the great outdoors, finding happiness in fishing trips with his beloved sons and cherished memories of camping adventures with his brothers. Above all, James treasured moments spent with family; his greatest joy was his role as "Papa" to his three grandchildren, whom he adored. Nothing made him happier than good old-fashioned Italian cooking and grilling out with his family. Music - especially folk and Americana, including artists like Guy Clark, Steve Earle, and Kris Kristofferson - was a lifelong passion James passed on to his children. He could often be found relaxing on his front porch, basking in the simple pleasures of a warm evening. Summers at Cape Cod were his own little slice of heaven, and he always stopped to notice the beauty of nature, both at home and during his travels across the country. James Coronity leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a profound appreciation for the world around him. James will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his life partner of 30 years, Mary "Mae" LaBelle of Palmer; his children Matthew LaBelle and Morgan LaBelle of Palmer, Albert Coronity and his partner Carlotta Kane of Springfield, Joseph Coronity, John Coronity, and Jaimaree Coronity and her partner, Ruben Rubio, all of Palmer; his three brothers, Francis Coronity of Boston (and his late wife Xiaoyan), Joseph Coronity and his wife Robin, of Hanson, and John Coronity and his wife Janice, of Monson; his three cherished grandchildren, Theresa Carmona, Ezekiel Gonzalez, and Adrielle Coronity; as well as many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, August 10th from 2pm-4pm at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main Street. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer's Association, https://act.alz.org/ or to the Lupus Foundation of America, https://www.lupus.org/
