It is with great sadness that the family of James Anthony Cortese announces his passing on August 1, 2020 at the age of 61 years old. Jimmy will be lovingly remembered by Jamie Lynn & Jeffrey , Lauren & Clinton, Nicholas and Lisa. His three granddaughters Luella, Adalynn and Layla. His mother Lena, brothers and sister Ralph , Louis , Mark, Thomas and Andrea . Along with many nieces and nephews. Jimmy was loved by many that considered him a father and treated them as they were his own. Jimmy was born in New Jersey and later moved to Tucson with his family. He was a graduate of Sahuaro High School 1977. Where he was an outstanding wrestler and football player. He worked for the City of Tucson. He was everyones go to plumber and always willing to help with any project for his family and friends. His three children and three granddaughters made him the happiest man alive. He will forever be in our hearts. Services will be held 2pm on August 29, 2020 at Pantano Christian Church. 1755 S Houghton Rd, Tucson, AZ 85748
