James Ray Davis
August 6th, 1943 - September 23rd, 2017
James Ray Davis (Papa) was born in Pendleton, Oregon, on August 6, 1943, and passed away on September 23, 2017. Jim graduated from Sutter High School and was senior class vice-president for the class of 1961. Jim enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country from 1961 until 1964. He then returned to the Yuba-Sutter area where he was employed with Del Pero-Mondon Meat Co. in Marysville until 1986. Jim then took a position with King Food Service until he retired in 2015. For nearly 40 years, Jim lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he raised his family. He was an Honorary Brother and Past Master of Free & Accepted Masons at the Pearl Harbor Lodge of Honolulu for nearly 30 years. Jim "Papa" is survived by his wife Gail (Trigueiro) Davis; his two daughters; Jennifer (Davis) Ferraro and Jacque (Davis) Hartmann; and his two beloved grandchildren; Leo and Sanoe Hartmann. A grave side service will be held at the Sutter Cemetery in Sutter, CA, on Monday, October 2, 2017, at 11:00 a.m.
