Bonaire, GA- James Lee Dickey, 82, passed away June 15, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Bonaire Methodist Church. Burial will be held in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from 10:00AM – 11:00AM. Reverend Bill Woodson and Reverend Scott Hogan will officiate. Born March 24, 1936 to the late Warren and Thelma Dickey, he proudly served his country in the United States Army as well as the Air Force for a total of 9 years in the service. He retired Civil service from Robins Air Force after many years. He was a long time member of Bonaire Methodist Church. James was a member of the Daylight Masonic Lodge. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed. His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 15 years, Virginia Dickey, two children, Matthew Dickey (Cari), Patrick Dickey, 1 sister, Judy McKeever (Dick), 5 grandchildren; 2 stepsons, Stephen Avery (Donna), Bruce Avery (Deanna).
