James Michael Dilger
September 10th, 1954 - February 5th, 2014
Mr. James Michael Dilger, 59 died Wednesday, February 5th at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be held at Westminster Gardens Cemetery at 1:30 pm Saturday, Feb. 8th. James was born to the late Eleanor J. and Frank E. Dilger on September 10th, 1954. He attended Oak Ridge Military Academy. He Served in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Made Rite Foods for 30 years. He was a dedicated member of the Barbershop Singers. He loved to sing, craft, and do puzzles. His love will be missed beyond words. He had a remarkable ability to love unconditionally and he will be loved forever and a day. He loved his wife Debbie Dilger, whom he married in 1976. He is survived by her. He is survived by a daughter Holly K. McRary; a son Jason M. Dilger and his wife Ashley A. Dilger; and a son Matthew J. Dilger and his wife Lan N. Dilger. He is survived by 7 grandchildren: Tyler B McRary, Rylee I. McRary, Kaydence E. McRary, Luke M. Dilger, Logan S. Dilger, Timothy J. Dilger and Tomas J. Dilger. He is survived by a brother Frank H. Dilger and a sister Loretta M. Dilger. He is survived by his loving dog Drake. He is survived by many friends. He was preceded in death by a brother Thomas H. Dilger, a son Jamie Lee Trent Burton and a son Lawrence Ford Dilger. Memorials may be made to the Guilford County Humane Society, 4527 W.
