James "Jim" Eugene Edwards

James "Jim" Eugene Edwards, age 66, of Lowell, NC passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015. He was born the son of the late Orin Eugene and Emma Dorothy (Broadwell) Edwards on November 12, 1948 in Charlotte. Jim is survived by daughters Andrea Anderson and Jennifer Davis; son Brian Edwards; stepdaughter Ashley Thompson; stepson Aaron Buchanan; sister Elaine Medina; five grandchildren, three nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a jack of all trades who could fix anything, a gifted and talented musician and artist, animal lover and enjoyed listening to the Beatles, Elvis and B.B. King music. Jim retired from Bealer Distribution where he worked as a Sales Representative. Funeral services for Jim will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte, 2700 Toomey Ave, Charlotte, NC 28203.
