James "Jim" Talmage Ellett
December 12th, 1923 - December 12th, 2018
Ellett, James (Jim) Talmage, 95, of Largo FL passed away December 12, 2018. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jim enjoyed the outdoor life that his home region provided. World War II was a pivotal point in Jim’s life when he joined the Air Force and became a pilot. Jim’s career in the Air Force lasted over 20 years where he flew hundreds of missions in World War II and the Korean War. He retired as Major James T. Ellett in 1963. As a civilian Jim went to work for ECI and worked for variations of this corporation for the next 25 years. Jim enjoyed golf, watching football, church, his dogs, and spending time with his family including 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Jim was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Jim’s memorial service will be Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00am, in the Goodwin Chapel at Pasadena Community Church. Donations should be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
